18 May 6th Interschool mBoggle Competition mBoggle competition was first conducted in 2012. It makes use of a unique online word builder programme created in-house (adapted from Boggle) to promote the use of Malay language among non-native Malay speakers. 12 Aug Fiesta Bahasa 2017 Language Fiesta that is organised annually for launching and celebration of MLLPC's project. This event is an outreach programme involving students, teachers as well as parents. MLLPC's signature programme organised annually to showcase MLLPC's project and participating schools. This year will be the launch of 2 Language Apps for primary and secondary levels. There will also be booths put up by schools, sharing their ICT-infused lessons in teaching and learning of Malay Language, partners like NLB and NHB, a Talk Show and a LEGO creative writing competition. 19 Aug Mother Tongue Language Symposium cum Outstanding Pre-School Award 2017 The 6th MTLS will continue to promote bilingual education and supplement efforts by schools and the community in the teaching and learning of MTLs, amidst the increasing number of English-speaking and bilingual families in Singapore. The Outstanding Pre-School Mother Tongue Language Teacher Award organised by the MTLLPC will also be held in conjunction with the MTLS.
